Exhibition: Nuestros Maestros: The Legacy of Margaret Herrera (Chávez)

Since the 1950's, Margaret Herrera (Chávez)'s paintings, watercolors, and prints have captured the real and imagined character of New Mexico as well as other parts of the world.  See the largest existing public collection of work by Herrera (Chávez) in this celebration of one of the few Nuevomexicanas recognized as an artist in the mid-twentieth century.  The NHCC Community Art Gallery is made possible by the generous support of local and regional artists and the NHCC Foundation's "Art for the Artists Fund."
