Enjoy a free public opening reception featuring the work of four contemporary New Mexican mixed media artists who transform the everyday and familiar into the extraordinary and fabulous. These artists integrate the aesthetic of bits and pieces into discrete visions bringing both whimsy and social commentary to their work. This new exhibit is funded and supported by artists and the NHCC "Art for the Artists Fund." The NHCC will offer education programming in conjunction with this exhibit that includes artist demonstrations, lectures, exhibition tours led by the artists, and hands-on workshops. All programs are free unless otherwise noted. On view through January 11, 2009.
